Outreach with Odin's Mobile Dock

At Odin’s Heart Foundation, outreach is at the core of our mission. We raise awareness about the vital role caregivers play in the lives of children with rare genetic disorders. Through community events, partnerships, and education, we highlight the challenges caregivers face and the support they need.

In 2024, Odin’s Dock embarked on a two-month journey to ZingZing K9, where it was featured at two United Dock Diving competitions, drawing in spectators and raising awareness for caregivers of children with rare genetic diseases. These events provided an incredible platform for community engagement, offering visitors both the thrill of dock diving competitions and an introduction to the services and mission of Odin's Heart Foundation. Additionally, Einstein Dock Diving hosted the first Michigan-based Odin’s Dock event at event in St. Clair Shores, MI bringing together pet enthusiasts and families in support of caregivers. These events highlighted the therapeutic connection between animals and caregivers while strengthening our community network and expanding our outreach.

Odin’s Heart Foundation is proud to offer a dynamic Caregiving Education Program designed to enhance the quality of life for caregivers and their surrounding communities. We provide tips, tricks, strategies, and resources to address the unique challenges caregivers face. From first aid clinic organization to online virtual brainstorming sessions and resource exchange groups, our program bridges the vital gap between the needs of caregivers and practical, implementable solutions. Our goal is to empower caregivers with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive, while fostering stronger support systems within their communities.
