Our Mission and Programs, Your Heroes:

  • Our History

    Odin's Heart Foundation was born out of a personal journey and a profound mission: to support and uplift caregivers of children with rare genetic disorders and complex needs. Founded in 2022 by a dedicated Board of Directors, Odin’s Heart Foundation was inspired by the firsthand experiences of a grandparent witnessing the immediate and life-changing impact of caring for a family member with a rare disease. The foundation initially focused on providing meaningful respite activities for siblings, financial aid for families, and essential services to ease the immense weight that caregivers carry. Since then, we have expanded our outreach across multiple states.

    Odin’s Heart Foundation offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support caregivers of children with rare genetic disorders. Our programs include respite and financial assistance to alleviate the demands of caregiving, mental health and wellness support to strengthen caregivers’ emotional well-being, and educational outreach to raise awareness about the unique challenges caregivers face. We also provide youth and family support to address the needs of siblings and extended family members and engage a network of volunteers and community partners to amplify our mission. Together, these services create a compassionate support system, empowering caregivers to continue their essential work with renewed resilience and hope.
